Outside those hours, leave a message with your name and a number on the next business day.
What to have ready
A short call is usually all it takes. It helps to have a few details ready:
- Your name and a phone number where you can be reached.
- Whether you are a new patient or have been seen here before.
- A sentence about the reason for the visit, such as a checkup or a broken tooth.
- The days and times of day that fit your schedule.
If you're scheduling for someone else, have that person's name and date of birth with you. Medical history is best discussed on the phone or at the office rather than in writing.
