Getting to the office

Either end of the lake road brings you back to Highway 41. From there the route continues into Oakhurst, where Road 426 leaves the highway in town, and our office is at number 49414.

Every patient is seen at our Oakhurst office, so the trip is the same whether your place on the lake is home all year or for part of it. On a first visit, watch for the building number rather than a landmark, since the addresses along Road 426 are spread out.

How we can help

Dr. Robert J. Brosi is a general dentist, and we provide the range of care a household usually needs. Examinations, cleanings and x-rays form the routine side of that care. Fillings, crowns, bridges, dentures and root canal treatment help teeth that are broken, worn or already lost, and a tooth that has had root canal treatment often needs a crown afterward because tooth structure has been lost. Gum disease is charted, treated and then kept under review, and it is a leading cause of adult tooth loss.

Cosmetic care includes whitening, bonding, veneers and porcelain work, planned so the result still looks like your own teeth. Jaw pain and clenching has a page of its own, and so do clear aligner treatment and oral appliances for people who have been diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea. Office hours and appointments

We're open Monday through Wednesday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and Thursday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, and closed Friday through Sunday. It helps to have a few things ready when you call.

  • What you'd like to come in for. A cleaning, a routine examination and a look at a specific tooth are scheduled a little differently, so tell us what's going on and we'll book the visit that fits.
  • Where your records are held. If you've been seen at more than one office, choose the office that will keep your record and ask the other for copies. You have a right to copies of your records.
  • Time for treatment with a laboratory stage. A crown, a bridge or a denture is crafted away from the office, so that work takes more than one visit. We're happy to walk you through the sequence when treatment is planned.
  • A current list of medications. Anything for blood pressure, blood thinning or bone density can affect dental treatment, and so can medications that dry the mouth.
  • A quick call if plans change. If you need to move an appointment, call (559) 683-4694 as early as you can.
