Getting to the office

Highway 41 is the road the whole way, and you stay on it until you're in Oakhurst. Once you're in town, Road 426 branches off and our office is at number 49414.

Addresses along Road 426 sit further apart than a map suggests, so watch for the number itself on the final stretch. If you need to move an appointment after it's booked, call (559) 683-4694 and we'll find another day.

Office hours and appointments

We're open Monday through Wednesday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and Thursday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, and closed Friday through Sunday, which is worth keeping in mind as you plan the drive out of the park.

To make an appointment, give us a call or use the appointment request form. When you call, let us know what you'd like to come in for, since a cleaning, a routine examination and a look at a specific tooth are scheduled a little differently.

Treatment with a laboratory stage, such as a crown, a bridge or a denture, takes more than one visit because the restoration is crafted in between, and healing time can add intervals as well. When treatment is planned, we're happy to walk you through the sequence so you can plan your trips down the mountain.

How we can help

Dr. Robert J. Brosi is a general dentist, and general dentistry covers most of what a household needs over a lifetime. Each page below describes the treatment in plain terms.

Common questions

Is there an office closer to Wawona?

Every patient is seen at our Oakhurst office, at 49414 Road 426, straight down Highway 41. We're glad to be your dentist on the south side of the park.

How many visits does a course of treatment take?

It depends on the treatment. Anything crafted in a laboratory, such as a crown or a denture, takes more than one visit with time in between, and healing can add intervals as well. Ask when treatment is planned, and we'll map out the sequence with you.

What happens if the road is bad on the day?

Give us a call at (559) 683-4694 and let us know. Mountain weather is part of life up here, and we'll find you another day.

I work here seasonally. Can I be seen as a new patient?

Of course, and we'd be glad to meet you. Bring copies of your records and recent x-rays from the office where you were last seen if you have them, and complete your patient forms before your visit.
