Getting to the office

Highway 49 is the road for most of the way. It comes into Oakhurst and meets Highway 41 in town, and Road 426 branches off from there. Our office is at number 49414.

Addresses along Road 426 sit further apart than a map suggests, so watch for the number itself on the final stretch. Neighbors from up the Highway 49 side are always welcome here, and we're glad to be your dentist over the county line.

How we can help

Dr. Robert J. Brosi is a general dentist. General dentistry covers most of what a household needs across a lifetime, and each page below explains what a treatment involves and what to expect at the appointment.

Office hours and appointments

We're open Monday through Wednesday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and Thursday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, and closed Friday through Sunday.

To make an appointment, give us a call at (559) 683-4694 or use the appointment request form. Let us know what you'd like to come in for, and if a specific tooth is bothering you, mention which tooth and what it has been doing.

Some treatment includes a laboratory stage or a healing interval, which is why a crown, a bridge or a denture takes more than one visit. When treatment is planned, we're happy to walk you through the sequence so you know what the schedule will look like.

Transferring your records

If you're changing practices, ask your current office for copies of your records and recent x-rays before your first appointment here. That request usually needs to be in writing. You have a right to copies of your records, and recent images matter because they give us a baseline to compare against rather than a single image with no history.

A first examination takes a little longer than a routine visit. It covers the teeth, the gums and the soft tissue, and it ends with an unhurried talk about what Dr. Brosi found and what, if anything, he recommends, in order of priority. What to expect as a new patient.

Treatment we provide

Patients from Mariposa are seen at the Oakhurst office for all of the following. Each page explains what the treatment involves and what to expect.

Every treatment the practice provides is listed on the services index.
